At Excelerate Energy, our projects have delivered enough energy in the form of high-pressure natural gas to displace over 650 million MT of coal, which when related to gas power plants equates to savings of almost 8.8 Billion MT of CO2 displaced, which equates to nearly 2 billion cars removed from the road, or 8.5 million sequoia trees planted. We remain vigilant environmental stewards by managing risk, reducing pollution, minimizing our waste and natural resource consumption, and lowering greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which is done through several ongoing initiatives.
